Vuokatti Hiihto 2020 has been CANCELLED

The Finnish government has recommended that all public events of more than 500 people should be cancelled by the end of May due to the coronavirus epidemic. For this reason, the Vuokatti Hiihto event scheduled for Saturday 14.3.2020 has also been cancelled.

Vuokatti Hiihto in 2021 will be held on Saturday 20.3.2021, and your participation can be transferred to next year’s event, diverging from the general cancellation terms of the Kainuu Sports Association. If you want your participation to be transferred to 2021, the notice must be given within two weeks, that is, by March 27, 2020.

Guidelines for both cases have been emailed to all registered people on Friday 13.3.2020. If you have registered to Vuokatti Hiihto 2020 but have not received any instructions, please contact us by email at

If you have paid for your participation with a sports/exercise or cultural benefit, we are unable to refund you according to the tax administration’s instructions. In this case, we recommend you to transfer your participation to 2021.

Please note that enrollment is personal and cannot be transferred to another person.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. See you at Vuokatti Hiihto, the sunniest ski marathon of the spring in 2021!
